I have some good news: This year I’ll be offering a Tarot for Grief virtual retreat for the winter solstice on December 21st - come as you are, gather strength and comfort for the holidays, reconnect with your deck. It’s 33 GBP (or 11 GBP) and you can sign up over here.
And some bad news: I accidentally deleted the Zoom registration list for the free monthly Spark sessions (I wont bore you with the details, I am sorry!), which is a bummer. I’d love to send monthly reminders with the Zoom link just to folks who’d like to come, so if that’s you - please re-register over here. It’s a gentle, free and creative space and there is more info below and we are now back to meeting from 7-8pm UK time (rather than 8-9pm).
Anyway, now with the house keeping out of the way I wanted to tell you a bit more about the midlife portal rituals I am enjoying in the lead up to my 40th birthday. Zoë of Runa has designed an incredible ritual game for me - you can hear more about her story in episode 138 over here. I shared with her that I am missing grandmotherly guidance in my life and she came up with a playful six week adventure in which I am heading to my local woodlands with gifts and litter picking stuff to make offerings and listen to the stories and symbols that emerge. Below is a picture of a cute teenage deer I met on one of these trips.
I also feel really blessed to be working with Phelicia Magnusson who was on episode 163 sharing some beautiful custom plant magic with me. The beautiful space she holds for me allows me to make this transition magical, even if my mum is not here to celebrate with me. I really can’t tell you how much it means to be witnessed as I am exploring new and old parts, ideas and visions. Phelicia is magic!
Finally, I wanted to share that the wonderful Misha of Halva for the Heart has interviewed me about grief magic & ritual care over here - its such a beautiful podcast and I can’t wait to share a reverse episode soon!
