Hi there,
how are you doing? How is your heart? (I really do want to know, feel free to comment below!)
I was by the river yesterday and thought about what I might be able to offer this moment. With the pace of things right now it feels hard sometimes to be still and listen long enough to come up with good ideas. At university I am taking a class on consumption and circular economies and I so appreciate being in those open ended, exploratory conversations about what’s next. One of our tasks was to come up with a guiding question for our work, which I found helpful. Here is mine:
How can we keep sharing joy, stay in solidarity with each other and do as as much repair as possible even if we may not see the full embodiment of wider structural changes we are hoping for in our lifetimes?
How do we make the transition to a more circular, regenerative economy fun and help each other navigate those changes?
Adrienee Maree Brown shared something really simple that still echoes in my ears recently: Stay till the end, do what you can.
Stay till the end, do what you can.
Wondering what that means day by day also feels like a doable, tangible and helpful thing to orient towards. Full disclosure though, some days I am as tired, overwhelmed and anxious as you are, as we all are, and then nothing makes sense and not much feels doable.
Anyway, long waffle short, I am offering another fundraiser workshop on business resilience on March 25th, 6pm UK time. I will cover:
Some strategies to feel safer and less alone in your work
Tools to help us spin anxiety into strategic foresight
Practical ways to diversify income streams and community connection points
We’ll raise money for the Middle Eastern Children’s Alliance in Gaza and you can sign up here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/F-qnXvYLSM-gfIq2lzjzbQ
Our next Spark session is on March 2nd - come for some gentle company and little guided rituals, we’d love to have you. All info, including ways to work with me, as always below!
Sending love and wishing you many moments of peace,
Yarrow

Hi Yarrow - warm greetings from my home to yours. How is my heart? It is broken and grieving. My cat recently died and I'm shuffling around in a muddy mess of mournful wails. It's all very raw over here right now. I know you understand. And then, my one question would be "how do I connect with other housebound people and keep that connection nourished?" That has been my biggest question these last few years. Thanks for asking good questions. Love to you.
Mmm - Stay till the end, do what you can. Beautiful. Thank you, Yarrow! xo
