Hey friend,
I am so glad you are still here!
The above book (Everything for everyone by M.E. O’Brien and Eman Ahdelhadi) is giving me a lot of hope/thoughts/ideas at the moment and I think some of you might enjoy this speculative oral history set in the 2070ies too. It questions everything from how we raise children and feed ourselves to how we resolve conflict and relate to one another despite trauma and deep uncertainty. It does feel like one of those things that isn’t perfect, but that offers sustenance for the long, long game we have to play.
As someone in the world of small business I am always curious about how others imagine “work” in the future. For now, I am still and forever doing this awkward dance between pragmatism and idealism. It’s fun, I am grateful, I love my clients. That’s so much more than I could imagine in my twenties!
Anyway, I’d love to talk to you more - please join me for my next fundraiser workshop on money, pricing and shame on July 17th - all info below. We will talk about pricing and marketing in troubled times and hopefully generate some ideas for you that will make things feel just a bit easier right now. It will be a small group, so you can get individual feedback from me if you like.
I would also love to offer a three months small group program for business development starting in September - I miss this kind of facilitation and would love to hear what content and format would be most helpful for you - please could you answer three questions over here? Thank you so much!
If you have another kind of question for me about grief, creativity or business related stuff you can also send me a voice note over here.
Finally, here are some new podcast episodes for you:
Thank you for reading!
So much love,
Yarrow
On July 17th from 6-7:30pm UK time I am offering a donation based fundraiser workshop with the proceeds going to the Good Law Project, which is challenging the horrific supreme court ruling on trans rights in the UK. We will:
Learn about different pricing models and how they can help us work towards economic justice
Unpack our own needs for stability & access to release shame
Share thoughts about how we may navigate this time with integrity & vision
1:1 Creative Grief Companionship - a sweet three month container with fortnightly sessions on Zoom, lots of listening and even more creative guidance & ritual ideas
Custom made grief quilts made in my little home studio for your comfort & remembrance
My new course Grief Glimmers - it’s currently on pre-sale for GBP 44 before it comes out on June 11th
Tech & design days - book a full or half day with me to create better systems and integrations, update your website or finally start a podcast, newsletter or blog
Business mentoring - guidance, inspiration and accountability to help you grow or pivot whenever you need it!
Our next free Spark sessions is on Sunday the 6th of July from 8-9pm UK time (that’s 12-1pm PT or 15-16pm ET & here is a timezone converter).
The format will always be the same:
A warm welcome & a moment of grounding
A chat check in with everyone
Quiet time to work with the Spark session workbook, which includes journaling prompts, reflections & useful tools to help you set yourself up for the month ahead - choose your own adventure (you’ll get it on the call)
Intention setting & goodbyes
